Ancient Cities>>>>ENTERThe ancient name of Marmaris was Physkos, and the city was developed as a port for Caria. There is not much of the ancient remains surviving. You can see some of the ruins to the north, on Asartepe Hill. However, these are very limited in number and would only be of interest to archaeologists.

Waterfalls

Waterfall >>>>ENTERIt is possible to drive on the dirt road, which brings you to the _elale region after 200 metres. This _elale is not one of the giant size waterfalls. It falls from a height of just three or four metres, coming from a valley of thick vegetation where the water levels drop in summer.
Museum

 Museum>>>>ENTER Marmaris Castle is nationalized on 1979, and restored between 1980 and 1990. Marmaris Museum, is facilitated within Marmaris Castle, and opened for visitors officially on 18th May, 1991. There are seven galleries within castle, two of these are used as warehouses.

Dive >>>>ENTERMarmaris is one of the most important regions of Turkey for diving, with 52 points diving points in and around it. On the daily dive tours departing from the port of Marmaris the following are some of the better known diving spots.
Rafting

Rafting >>>>ENTERThe Dalaman River has become one of the Turkey’s most popular rafting spots in recent years. The stream has two different levels of difficulty. The higher one has a difficulty level of  3th grade and can only be undertaken with rafting boats. The lower level can be done by "river canoeing" and is advised for the beginners.

Beaches

Beaches >>>> ENTERTurunc's old name Loryma Peninsula the present name Bozburun Peninsula, you can reach Marmaris for 30 minute by bus or boat. Turunc is near the Pine tree covered mountain. Turunc sea, shine while morning light.
